Neon CloudswI took this picture when I was walking home from a friends house. I really liked the way that the light was barely streaming through the branches and the leaves. I also really liked the gradient of colors starting at the yellow at the bottom and working it's way to blue. The filter that I used for the first picture is patchwork. I chose patchwork because it looked like I was looking at the sunset through a window screen.
Tall TreesI took these pictures on a walk near my house. I really liked how the trees on the right were turning yellow while the trees on the right where still a nice green as well as the grass. It makes a really nice difference between all of the plants in the photo, and they can easily be distinguished. The filter that I used for the picture of the far right is called Mosaic Tiles. I used this filter because it also looked, like the first, that it has been seen through a window screen.
Gradient Sky |
This picture was taken right at night when the sun was setting. I took this picture because I really liked the way that the colors of the clouds looked so bright and smooth through the sky. For the picture to the far right. I used the filter canvas because it looked to me like the picture was being painted on to a rough canvas.
Subtle GlowI took this picture in my home town, Breckenridge, CO. I took both of the pictures within the same minute but the sky changed in between photos. I really liked the contrast of the blue and the pink within the clouds. The filter that I used for the picture on the far right is called craquelure. I used this filter because it made the photo look like it was painted onto a rough ceiling
Green SceneI took this picture on my way to the bus stop. I really liked how bright the colors were, and how nicely they went along with the silhouette of the trees. Where the sun was rising there was really warm colors that make the photo pop, and closer to the top there are more cool colors that blend in with the rest of the picture, and the contrast between the warm and the cool colors was really nice to capture in a picture. The filter that I used for the picture on the far right is called spatter. I used spatter because I really liked the blur that it gave to the tree.
